Some homosexuals ie sodomites proclaim their "life style" and are openly "gay"

God tells them in Leviticus 18:22 that it is an abomination to him.

18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

In God also tells sodomites of their Romans 1:27 of their judgment.

1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

The Destruction Of Sodom And Gomorrah   (A Warning)

(Genesis 19:24-28).

19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

19:25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

19:27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

19:28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

That event was so spectacular, swift, and complete that it became proverbial for the severity of judgment that God’s righteous anger could deliver. (5) Jesus spoke “woes” exceeding those spoken against Sodom and Gomorrah on Galilean cities that rejected His teaching (Matthew 10:15; 11:23-24; Luke 10:12). The swiftness of Sodom’s judgment was used by Jesus to illustrate how sudden His return will be (Luke 17:28-30).

Leviticus 18:22

18:22 abomination. Homosexuality has become so common today, just as in the ancient pagan tribes, that it is considered an acceptable–or even preferable–life style. God, however, who created men and women and ordained the proper and fruitful institution of marriage and the family unit, calls it abomination.

Despite modern theories, it is not a natural condition; it is a learned behavior which, like any other sin prohibited by a holy God, can become a very difficult behavior to change when long practiced. Nevertheless, the Bible clearly forbids–and nowhere more forcefully than here in this eighteenth chapter of Leviticus–not only homosexuality but also adultery, incest, bestiality, and any other type of sexual commerce except that in monogamous, life-long marriage.

God can and does forgive these and other sins (that is what the Levitical offerings in this same book teach). Persistent and unrepentant continuance therein will eventually result in the judgment implicit in Romans 1:27, “receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins. Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.

Why would a loving God allow death and suffering?

by        Why would a loving God allow death and suffering? (Free Online book)

The origin of death and suffering is vitally important in defending Christianity, and many people use the present suffering and death as an excuse not to believe. So it is vital to have an answer―such a justification of God’s goodness in the face of evil is known as a theodicy.

The big picture is that Adam’s sin is the reason for all the death in the world. A consistent biblical answer points out that death is an intruder, so it is not part of God’s original creation, but is ultimately due to man’s sin.
