Darwin Was A Racist

Evolutionary racism refers to a racist philosophy based on Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory. It assumes that men have continually evolved, and thus some races are more evolved than others. It replaces Christian morality with the atheistic "survival of the fittest."

"At some future period not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace the savage races throughout the world. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes...will no doubt be exterminated. The break between man and his nearest Allies will then be wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state, as we may hope, even than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as the baboon, instead of as now between the Negro or Australian and the gorilla."

Likewise he compared native populations to animals:

The difference between a Tierra del Fuegian and a European is greater than between a Tierra del Fuegian and a beast

Charles Darwin originally based the idea of human evolution on a racist assumption, [after God was rejected as Creator], made in the late 1830s, that Fuegians (natives of Tierra del Fuego) resembled primates that he had observed in the London zoo.

In 1859, Charles Darwin published his famous theory about how the species may have been produced without any aid from a Divine Creator. He titled his book On The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.

Charles Darwin’s casual mentioning of a ‘creator’ in earlier editions of The Origin of Species appears to have been a merely a ploy to downplay the implications of his materialistic theory. Intelligent design advocate John Calvert declares that atheists often don't reveal their atheism and stealthily try to promote their atheism. It can be argued that this was Darwin's approach.

In 1885, the Duke of Argyll recounted a conversation he had had with Charles Darwin the year before Darwin's death:

In the course of that conversation I said to Mr. Darwin, with reference to some of his own remarkable works on the Fertilisation of Orchids, and upon The Earthworms, and various other observations he made of the wonderful contrivances for certain purposes in nature.

—I said it was impossible to look at these without seeing that they were the effect and the expression of Mind.

I shall never forget Mr. Darwin's answer. He looked at me very hard and said, “Well, that often comes over me with overwhelming force; but at other times,” and he shook his head vaguely, adding, “it seems to go away.”

Perhaps the best explanation of Darwin's worldview from 1836 onwards was that Darwin was a weak atheist=agnostic who often had overwhelming thoughts that nature was the product of a mind.

Charles Darwin

Psalm 19:1-3 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Darwin knew the world was designed because he often had overwhelming thoughts that nature was the product of a mind.

I think this is also true for many people who claim to be atheists.

Darwin because of his unbelief in Jesus his Creator is most likely in hell now and will suffer the The 2nd Death for rejecting God's free gift of salvation and eternal life.

Creation Moments

Genesis 1:27
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Charles Darwin introduced his theory of evolution in 1859 in the book Origin of Species. Many evolutionists, however, would like people to forget that the full title is On the Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.

It is undeniable that Darwin promoted racist ideas that could then be solidly founded upon "science." Although he never mentioned Man in his Origin of the Species, the implications were there that Man had come from the animal kingdom.

In his third book, The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animal, published in 1872, Darwin left no doubt about his racist ideas, and head-measuring became a full-time occupation to determine which races were more "evolved" than others. Teams of hunters set out to obtain specimen heads from aboriginal Australian and Tasmanian owners … whether the owners had ceased to use them or not! Entire tribes were shot down, and the museum cases of the "civilized" nations became filled with neatly graduated rows of heads giving supposed "proof" of evolution.

Most evolutionists deny this gruesome chapter in the history of Darwinism. Yet it shows that Darwinism is not only racist, it treats humans as if they were animals. Is it any wonder, then, that most evolutionists are in favor of abortion and euthanasia while creationists oppose these practices? After all, creationists – not evolutionists – know that all people, young and old, are created in the image of God.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I look forward to the day You put an end to the evil slaughter of unborn babies, each of whom bears Your image. Amen.
