What Does Satan Want Me to Believe about Creation?
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Pretend that your family is building a house. Instead of carefully planning what your house will look like, you take all of the boards, nails and paint and throw them up in the air. Will the pieces fall together to make a beautiful home? Of course not! There has to be a plan. There also has to be someone to carry out the plan.
A house can't be built without a builder. The Earth was not created without a Creator. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). Satan has tried to make people believe that the Earth was created by accident after a big explosion.
Satan also lies and says that God didn't create people. He says that, over a long time, people evolved [changed] from animals. God says that's not true.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Why does Satan want you to believe you're an accident? He doesn't want you to know that you're special and that you have a loving Heavenly Father who made you in His image.
What Is the Occult?
Did you know you're in a battle? The Bible says that Christians are in a spiritual war.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
There are many people that Satan has drawn into occult practices. These practices like witchcraft, voodoo, astrology and fortune telling are against God and His Word.
Many people use occult practices as their religion. They worship the Earth, the sun and moon or even Satan himself.

Others get involved because they think it's fun. They read their horoscope or go to fortune-tellers. They hope to find supernatural knowledge and power, but this knowledge and power doesn't come from God. It comes from Satan, who wants to trick people into serving and worshiping him. These things may look like fun, but they will lead you away from God.
Satan does not want good things for you. He doesn't want you to believe God's truth. God says to stay away from occult practices. Trust Him to help you win your spiritual battles.
Can People Really See into the Future?
What's going to happen in the future? To find out, some people ask a fortune-teller, sometimes called a psychic. Psychics claim to know the future. Most of them just make guesses. Sometimes their guesses are right and sometimes they are not.
Some psychics are not just good guessers, though. There are some who are listening to Satan and his demons. God's Word tells about a time when a man named Paul met a fortune-teller. She was a slave and was making a lot of money for her masters by telling fortunes. She wasn't just making guesses. She was controlled by a demon. The Bible says Paul, who was preaching God's Word, commanded the demon to leave her. When it left, the girl could no longer see into the future. Satan's power over her was broken.
Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
Acts 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
Acts 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
Acts 16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,
When you listen to a psychic, you have "exchanged the truth of God for a lie." Satan wants to keep you from trusting God for your future. You may think psychics are just for fun, but listening to them and taking their advice can be very dangerous. Don't be fooled by Satan's lies! Trust God and His Word for your future.
Why Do Some People Believe in Astrology?
Have you ever heard of the zodiac? It is a chart divided into sections or signs. Each sign shows the positions of the stars and planets for particular years. Astrologists (people who study the zodiac) use these signs to write horoscopes. Horoscopes tell people what they should and shouldn't do according to their signs and make predictions of what will happen to people. Many individuals read their horoscopes each day. They believe the stars and planets cause them to act a certain way. They depend on astrology to show them the future.
Your enemy, Satan, would love for you to depend on your horoscope instead of God. He wants you to think that astrology can answer your questions about the future. However, God didn't make the stars and planets to answer your questions about life and the future. The answers to those questions can be found in the Bible. God gave you His Holy Spirit to help you understand His Word. He helps you grow in wisdom as you learn about Him and trust Him with your future.
Learn about God's creation. Praise Him for the wonderful things He has made. Be sure to worship the Creator and not His creation.
What's Wrong with Playing Occult Games?
Have you ever had someone tease you and then seem surprised when your feelings were hurt? Maybe they said, "I was just kidding around." They thought what they were doing was fun, but it really turned out to be hurtful. There are some games like that–games like Dungeons and Dragons and Ouiji boards. They look like fun, but they could really be hurtful. Satan can use these games to take control of you and cause you to think and do things that are against God.
Some people think games that ask you to pretend you have supernatural powers, cast spells or look into the future are harmless fun. That's just what Satan wants them to think. Satan can make things look good when they are really harmful. God's Word says to stay away from occult practices–things that involve demons, witchcraft and fortune telling.
God loves you and wants the best for you. Satan only wants to hurt and destroy. Obey God's Word. Refuse to play games that could be tricks from the devil. Don't let Satan fool you into disobeying God.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Where Does True Power Come From?
You've probably seen characters in cartoons or comic books that have supernatural power. They can do amazing things and no one can stop them! Have you ever wished you had power like that? Some people believe you can have power by building up your body or taking special vitamins. Others think that you already have supernatural power within you–you just need to bring it out! What is the truth? Where does true power come from?
True power comes from God. When you became a Christian, God's Holy Spirit came to live in you. Only God can give you real power. Having God's power doesn't mean having a super strong body. God's power is inner strength that makes you able to stand up for Him and live your life in a way that's pleasing to Him.
God gives you the power of His Holy Spirit to help you win over sin and Satan. You can grow strong in God's power by reading God's Word and praying every day. Ask His Holy Spirit to give you the power you need to stand for Him. Choose to obey God and do what's right. Thank God for the victory His power gives you.

An example of fine-tuning of the universe by GOD: If the mass and energy of the early universe were not evenly distributed to an incomprehensible precision of 1 part in 10^10^123, the universe would be hostile to life of any kind. This is an extraordinary figure. One could not possibly even write the number down in full, in our ordinary denary (power of ten) notation: it would be one followed by ten to the power of 123 successive zeros! (That is a million billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion zeros.)

We all see the evidence of God's creation. How we interpret what we see helps us make sense of this present world. The Bible, the “history book of the universe”, provides a reliable, eye-witness account of the beginning of all things. When properly understood, the “evidence” confirms the biblical account. The universe is "fined tuned" for life, ie designed by a designer, creator, The Lord GOD Almighty.
