The Speed Of Light

Time is a man made mathematical system. The Planck unit does not take into account that light speed is different in different directions. The Planck time, (tP), is the unit of time in the system of natural units known as Planck units. It is the time required for light to travel, in a vacuum, a distance of 1 Planck length, which is equal to 1.616199(97)·10^35 meters.

The speed of light is different when its moving toward us than when its moving away.

The Planck units are a man made tool to explain the speed of light that is not accurate because: (1) The speed of light is different in different directions and (2) The one way speed of light cannot be measured.

The speed of light is different when its moving toward us than when its moving away.

Einstein recognized that one-way light-travel times are stipulated rather than measured!

The one way speed of light cannot be measured.

A light beam bounced off a mirror gives an average velocity. People assume that the speed of light is the same going to a mirror as it is coming back from a mirror but it is not.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to measure the speed of the light beam coming back from the mirror.

Einstein knew this as do other physicists.

The distant starlight problem is resolved if we accept that Genesis is using the anisotropic synchrony convention (ASC) rather than the Einstein synchrony convention. The resolution is simple: under ASC, the one-way speed of light when directed toward earth is axiomatically infinite, even though the round-trip speed of light remains 3×10^8 m/s. Thus, the light from stars that are created on the fourth day will naturally reach the earth essentially instantaneously.

Starlight is different because we do have some Scriptural information about its origin. Namely, it really did come from the stars Genesis 1.15. And our sensory experiences are basically reliable. Therefore events we see happening in space really have happened, which would seem to refute the light-in-transit model. Yet, starlight is not a challenge for a young universe when we consider the anisotropic synchrony convention. Taking all the Scriptural information into account, ASC seems to be implied by the Bible, and naturally solves the starlight problem by reducing inward-directed light-travel-time to zero. Moreover, ASC forms the basis for a new young-universe cosmological model which has made successful predictions.

Hebrews 11:3   Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

11:3 faith. The word “faith” occurs twenty-four times in this chapter, with the great theme that true saving faith (Hebrews 10:39) and faith to live by (Hebrews 10:38) will inevitably produce works of faith that demonstrate its reality (see also James 2:14-26). This has been already demonstrated by a great “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1), whose works of faith have been described in the Old Testament, and are outlined in some cases here.

11:3 worlds. The word for “worlds” (Greek aion) was used to mean either “age” or the physical world, or both, depending on context. It seems to anticipate our present scientific understanding of the cosmos as a space/time/matter continuum. All (space, time, matter) were framed by the Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ (compare Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3,14; Psalm 33:6,9). Note also that the special creation of the universe is the very first object of this living, saving faith. Faith in redemption without faith in creation is impossible in any meaningful sense. Only the Creator can save.

11:3 things which do appear. The physical universe, therefore, was not somehow made out of pre-existing materials of any kind. Thus theistic evolution is an oxymoron. Only special creation of the worlds, accomplished merely by the omnipotent “Let there be!” of God, can account for the things that are seen. His processes of creating and making all things ex nihilo—that is, “out of nothing” but His own omnipotence—were all completed and stopped at the end of the six days of creation week (Genesis 2:1-3).

His present works consist of conserving and redeeming what He has created, as confirmed by the two most basic and universal of all known scientific principles, the so-called First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics. The First Law (mass/energy conservation) assures us that the universe did not create itself, as many modern physicists and New Agers imagine. The Second Law (mass/energy deterioration) assures us that the universe must have been created in the beginning and is not of infinite age—otherwise it already would have completely deteriorated into uniform stillness and death. Therefore it could only have been spoken into being by the omnipotent Word of God! Those who believe otherwise are “without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

Secular astronomers assume that light travels at the same speed in all directions. Therefore they argue the cosmos must be billions of years old in order for the most distant light to have reached us.

However the cosmic background radition, a faint glow found throughout black space even when no stars shine, looks exactly like what a "big bang" explosion whould have NOT have produced!

Cosmic background radiation looks the same throughout space.

The 'big bang" theory produced "hot and cold' regions of the universe.

It would have taken these so call hot and cold spots much less time than the "big bang" theory allows.

This is a light time travel time problem in essence.

The cosmic background radiation is the same throughout the visible universe. There is no place for the "big bang" theory of hot and cold spots in the CMB radiation found in the visible universe.
