While waiting to pick up someone from a local nursing home I handed out my website cards to a small group of people sitting just outside the entrance door. After I did this and explained briefly that evolution = millions of years + your imagination I started to sit next to a man that had received the first card. He was on an oxygen tank in a bench that seats about two people.
As I started to sit down next to him he said, "I don't want to be preached to". I politely told him I just wanted to sit down and that I was not going to preach to him. I started talking to the other people nearby about where they were from. They said GA and that they were there to visit their mother. Suddenly the man next to me said a couple of times, "I just don't understand where the races came from."
I said, "I could try to explain that to you but you have indicated you don't want to be preached to", so I just referred him to my website.
I talked some more with the people nearby and found that they were all together. I talked about Georgia a little.
Suddenly the man again began to say, "I just don't understand where the races came from". I again referred him to my website because he had said he did not want to be preached to.
A lady nearby began to tell him, "If you did not want to be preached to don't keep asking the question where did the races come from".
I talked with the man just a little about another subject but found it very interesting he, DID NOT WANT TO BE PREACED TO.
I think he was looking for an answer to his question but like so many others was reluctant to admit it.
I can't help but think he will go to Gen1.org and seek the answer he was looking for. All he has to do is read the article below.

I was at my local library making some copies and had the occasion to offer my card to a man standing near the front desk. I had joked about my copy of my drivers license picture and said, " Wow, I sure would not want to bump into that guy at night". He laughed a little and said yes those drivers license pictures can be brutal.
I then offered a card about my website and mentioned I did not believe in evolution.
As the man spoke and would not take the card his face froze in a kind of "plastic" deer in the headlights smile. A constant grin that was not real.
I have seen similar grins on other people when they are in some kind of distress. I will go out on a limb and postulate that he did not want to take my card because he did not want to know the truth.
Its like if I don't hear or see about something I don't need to worry about it.
Moments later I walked out of the library and stopped near the outside entrance and talked briefly to a man about his hat.
His hat was a navy military hat with a ships name on it that he served on. It had "scrambled eggs" on the bill.
I began a short conversation about how most people don't seem to notice my hat that has GEN1.ORG in big letters on it.
I said maybe I need to put some "scrambled eggs" on my hat to.
We then began talking about my web site. I told him that I did not belive in evolution.
The man began to tell me how all around us is the evidence of creation. I agreed and said it all was designed by God. He agreed also.
He then said that he worked at the emergency room in the trama department. The man said he was amazed at the body's ability to heal itself after what was an impossible situation. He talked a little about the wonderful human body that God had designed to heal itself.
I was encouraged by this person. I said a prayer for the other person I had talked to and wondered what he really was thinking.

While I was eating breakfast at a nearby fast food place I talked with a 17yr old about his magnetic generator idea.
One of most basic laws of science is the Law of the Conservation of Energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another.
He was convinced that it could generate electricity as a perpetual motion machine. Making something out of nothing. The something is "perpetual electricity". The "nothing" is the "magnetic generator". He said some of the power it generated could be fed back via a small electric motor to keep the "magnetic generator" going. The magnetic generator converts energy into electricity but it does NOT magically create perpetual energy. Energy is lost through sound or heat (friction) or some other means.
I could understand how some of the power could be fed back to "Keep it going" but I did not think it would be in any way perpetual.
The laws of thermodynamics make perpetual motion impossible.
No matter how close you come to perpetual motion, energy is lost through sound or heat (friction) or some other means.
You can obviously minimize those factors to be as small as possible and come infinitely close to perpetual motion, but you can never remove them. A consequence of the law of conservation of energy is that a perpetual motion machine of the first kind cannot exist.
With that being said, magnets don't create energy. There's no energy to harness from a "magnetic generator".
The contraption is only losing energy. You can hear the sound of it spinning. The sound of it spinning is expended energy.

Only God can make something out of nothing
No process can be 100% efficient, with all of the available energy converted into work. Some must be deployed to overcome friction and will be degraded to non-recoverable heat energy, which will finally be radiated into space and dispersed. For the same reason a self-contained perpetual motion machine is an impossibility.

While waiting in a doctors office I was watching some local news on the tv when a lady started talking to me about the news.
This was my cue to talk with her about my web site.
I talked with her briefy about the news on the tv and began to talk about the 6 days of creation and how I did not believe in evolution.
To my surprise she responded that she believed God created the world but then also said she believed in evolution.
Well this gave me a chance to explain to her how she was mistaken and that some churches deceive people by incorporating man's knowledge of historical science into the bible to accomodate those who trust more in man's ability to describe creation than God.
I explained God created the universe in 6 literal 24 hour days and that God did not use evolution to create anything. The only thing that keeps "evolving" is the evolution lie.
She listened intently and ask me if I was a preacher. I said no but I did believe passionately about refuting the lie of evolution.
She told me her husband was a scientist but had died about 1 year ago.
As other times I knew the short conversation with her was no accident. I thank the Lord Jesus I was able to talk with her and deny evolution while telling her about some of the information available on www.finetuneduniverse.com

The whole concept of race is evolutionary, not Biblical. Acts 17:26 "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;". All of mankind springs from our first parents, Adam and Eve, and then through Noah's family. The Biblical distinction is between national groups, and especially languages, not skin color or other physical characteristics.
The Biblical model regarding the origin of physical characteristics is easily the best historical and scientific explanation. Starting with Noah's family, the creation model postulates a "racially mixed" population, with much biological potential for variation. As family groups were isolated by language barriers, environmental factors allowed particular traits already present to be expressed more frequently, while genes coded for other characteristics were not favored and were eventually suppressed.
Genetically speaking, the differences between the various "races" are extremely small.
The most noticeable difference is in skin color, but the fact is, we are all the same color; some people just have a little more of that color than others. Skin shade is due to the amount of a substance called melanin in the skin; the more melanin, the darker the skin. Racially mixed individuals can parent children who are all the way from quite dark to quite light, or anywhere in between.
Prejudice, persecution, and racial hatred follow directly from the application of evolutionary teaching of "race".

A human race is defined as a group of people with certain common inherited features that distinguish them from other groups of people. All men of whatever race are currently classified by the anthropologist or biologist as belonging to the one species, Homo sapiens. This is another way of saying that the differences between human races are not great, even though they may appear so, i.e. black vs white skin. All races of mankind in the world can interbreed because they have so much in common.
Most anthropologists recognize 3 or 4 basic races of man in existence today. These races can be further subdivided into as many as 30 subgroups.
(The Australoid or Australian Aborigine, is sometimes regarded as a sub-group of the Caucasoid as they have many features in common with this group despite their dark skin. The American Indian is usually classed with the Mongoloid division).
The most significant difference between these races is:
(a) language
(b) hair and facial features
(c) skin color. This distinguishing feature is primarily due to difference in amount of the pigment, melanin, in the skin. This melanin protects the body by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sunlight which falls on the skin. UV radiation can damage the skin and produce skin cancer if it is not filtered out in this way. The shades of color in human skin can be represented by the Von Luschan Scale and ranges from almost pure white to pure black.
Differences such as hair, skin and facial features are almost certainly inherited, but the way in which their inheritance is controlled is little understood, and definitely not simple.
In skin color, for instance, 2 to 4 pairs of genes are involved. (Genes are the units in each cell of the body that carry inherited information) It is known that some of these genes produce lightness and some darkness. The brown skinned person has genes for both dark and light. The darker person has more genes for darkness and the lighter person has more genes for lightness.
All races therefore have developed from this one family since the end of the flood in Noah's day. The Australian Aborigine, the Chinese, and the European have come into existence only in recent times. The culture (technology and religions, etc.) of each racial group in the world started at a common point-Noah-with full knowledge of God and a sophisticated ocean liner technology. The current states of culture of the races, which varies from space age to stone age, from animal worship and spirit worship to Christianity, is not a result of innocent, ignorant people searching for improvement. It is a direct consequence of whether the ancestors of any race worshipped the living God or deliberately rejected Him.
The dispersion of people which would have followed the imposition of new languages at Babel, would have produced situations of cultural and environmental difference. These new conditions would have created a stress or pressure which would have acted on characteristics already present. With time, certain features, both physical and cultural, became associated with a particular group, and a separate race was formed.
The "races", in most cases, represent recombinations of pre-existent 'created' genes, with minor degenerate mutation.
The origin of human "races" does not conform to the popular concept of evolution, i.e. from simple to complex. There has been no 'evolution' of genes which did not previously exist, only the recombination and degeneration of created genetic information. No "race" of the world today comes from a background of zero technology or of innocent, ignorance of God.
All cultures which do not have a correct knowledge of God have got that way by deliberate rejection. They are not primitives in need of education and technical aid so that they can understand the Gospel, but spiritual degenerates in need of the Gospel so they can appreciate education and relevance of technology.
